We started WBYS because we got tired of watching people get bounced between four different companies just to put up a shop. There had to be a better way — so we built one.
Born Out of Frustration.
If you've ever tried to build a shop on the prairies, you know the drill: call a kit supplier, call a concrete contractor, call an erection crew, and hope they all show up in the right order. Three companies. Three timelines. Three people pointing fingers when something doesn't line up.
We started WBYS to eliminate that problem. Instead of farming out every stage to different trades, we brought everything under one roof — concrete, structure, and finishing are all handled by our own crews. One company. One contract. One crew on your property from start to finish.
What began as a simple idea — build shops the way people actually want them built — turned into a full building company serving four provinces. We haven't changed the formula because it works.

This is the single biggest difference between us and everyone else. Our concrete crew and our erection crew work for us — not for themselves, not on a contract basis. They're our people.
Concrete Crew
Site prep, gravel base, formwork, rebar, anchor bolts, pour, and finishing — all done by our own team. The same crew that pours the slab knows exactly what building is going on top of it.
Erection Crew
Framing, trusses, cladding, doors, windows, trim — our erection crew builds the structure from slab to ridge cap. They work with our concrete crew on every job, so everything lines up perfectly.

We're based in Schanzenfeld, Manitoba — right in the heart of the southern prairies. Our service area covers Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Northwestern Ontario. Every build we do is engineered for prairie conditions — proper snow load ratings, frost depth foundations, and insulation specs that make sense for our climate.
Kit-only packages ship anywhere in our service area. Full builds and concrete services are available throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and NW Ontario — we travel to your site with our crew and equipment.
We're licensed and insured, and every build comes with stamped engineered drawings that satisfy municipal permit requirements.
