Every shop we quote comes down to one question first: do you want the materials delivered so you can build it yourself, or do you want our crew to show up and put the whole thing up? Both are real options here. Neither is the “right” one — it depends on your time, your crew, and how much of the job you want to own.
What a kit includes
A kit is the complete structural package for your building, delivered to your site:
- Engineered trusses
- Wall framing or posts, depending on your frame type
- Metal roofing and siding
- Trim, hardware and fasteners
- Structural drawings
Doors and windows are picked separately when you build your quote, so you only pay for the openings you actually want and in the sizes you want them.
What a full build adds
On a full build our own crew handles it from the ground up — including the concrete, which we pour ourselves rather than subbing out. One crew, one company accountable for the whole thing. No coordinating between a materials supplier, a concrete contractor and a framing crew who all blame each other when something doesn't line up.
Side by side
Which one fits you
A kit makes sense if you've built before or have people who have, you own or can get the equipment to stand it, and your time is worth less to you than the labour cost. Plenty of our customers go this route and put the savings into a bigger building or a better finish.
A full build makes sense if you'd rather keep working your own job while it goes up, you want the concrete and the structure to be one company's problem, or you simply want it done properly the first time without managing trades.
Where we go
Kit-only packages ship anywhere in our service area. Full builds and concrete are available throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and northwestern Ontario — we travel to your site with our crew and equipment.
Still not sure?
You don't have to decide before you get a price. Build your quote and you'll see the kit figure on its own, so you can look at both and decide with real numbers in front of you. If you'd rather just talk it through, call us — that's usually faster.
