Warranty Details
Workmanship (4 Years)
Our 4-year workmanship warranty covers all construction performed by WBYS crews. This includes concrete slab integrity, structural framing, roofing installation, siding, trim, flashing, overhead door installation, walk door installation, and window installation. If anything we built fails due to workmanship within 4 years, we come back and fix it at no cost.
Metal Cladding — Paint (40 Years)
All metal roofing and wall panels carry a 40-year limited warranty on paint finish. This covers peeling, flaking, cracking, and chalking beyond normal weathering. Paint color options are covered under the same warranty — contact us for available color options.
Metal Cladding — Rust-Through (40 Years)
The same 40-year limited warranty covers perforation caused by corrosion from the underside of the panel. This is the most important warranty on any metal building — it means the steel itself is warranted to not rust through for four decades.
Doors & Windows (1 Year)
Overhead doors, walk-in doors, and slider windows carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects. This covers hardware, seals, tracks, glass, and operating mechanisms. Our installation workmanship is covered separately under the 4-year warranty above.
Engineered Trusses (Structural Certification)
All trusses are third-party engineered and stamped for your specific build location and snow load requirements. Engineering documents are provided with every build and can be submitted for permit applications. Structural performance is backed by the engineering certification.
What's NOT Covered
Normal wear and tear, damage caused by modifications after construction, acts of nature (hail, tornado, flood), improper use, and work performed by anyone other than WBYS crews. Kit-only purchases are covered by material warranties only — workmanship warranty applies to WBYS-installed builds.
